We had a terrible start of Volta da Lagoa/Brazil - our *Star* cobbler and
one of the favorites, Judi Champion, crashed out of the GC already on
stage 2:
"Your team participated in São José do Norte - Mostardas. Judicaël Champion finished 8 th as your best rider. You earned 1.500 $.
Bjarne Vesterlund had super legs during the race. Judicaël Champion suffered from a crash that influenced his performance the rest of the race."
All our great GC-plans crashed together with Judi, - but there is nothing so bad, that it ain't good for something..
If we dropped stage 3, riding pr/low, we could avoid more points and still
be in D3 on day 75, 08.55 ready for joining Western Cape Tour. At 10.45,
we were back in raceformation, and Judi grabbed a #3 on stage 4. At
20.45, Judi and the LO-boys showed us a masterpiece in classical lead-
out tactic with leadout bonus and all dat shit :)

Bjarne Vesterlund had good legs during the race. Both canteens and energy bars were used during the race. Pheneas Mdlangamandla had super legs during the race. Steen Traffel had an off day. Your team launched a successful lead out train. 20:45"
Yeah..that was a nice one - We got nothing in GC, but we earned two #3
and a win, but best of all, we got a ticket for our hilly sprinters in South
Africa in a week.
We had a big party in the rainforest, together with the locals and a Dtuned
chaotic rock'n roll band - Lets Go Amazonia:
